I want to introduce myself, I am Roya Slater . My favorite motto and the one that I live by is " Plan your work
and Work your plan" Using this motto you can achieve any goal.
I am currently a student at ASU, scheduled to graduate from the BIS program in December 2007. This is a new educational
program at ASU that produces a more rounded student by combining different disciplines that allows a person to view daily
events from different perspectives at the same time. This view allows a person to problem solve more effectively.
I became a BIS
student because as a business major I realized I would learn how to succeed in the business world but the business world
also involves people and without their support I would never be truly successful. Therefore understanding groups of people
was a talent I needed in my business career. My two areas of concentration are business and sociology, these have turned out
to be a great marriage of knowledge and understanding of both worlds.
